Canada Goose in Watercolour

This week has seen me make a few more of my Art Journals.  I have also been tidying up my Studio so I now have more room for my mixed media.  I even managed to pick up my watercolour brushes.

Rose Altered Art Journal

The idea for this Rose Journal came when I was given a present inside a pretty rose patterned gift bag. Co-ordinating black ribbon and gold cord was added to the finished cover with a rose embellishment as the closure.

  1. I love your goose Laura and I'm very impressed with your journals made of recycled materials - they are really beautiful!!
I was just trying to chip away at my own Mt Everest this very evening. It grew to monstrous heights while in my writing frenzy and I've only just had the courage to scale it!!

  4. Some awesome things here, Laura. Very pretty goose too. So nice to read about what you have been up to. I know the amount of work that goes into hand made journals and books......it is such a creative process though, isn't it?

  8. I am learning to make more things out of recyclables, especially in my work with children. The gift bag, dishwasher tablet box book is a great idea. Your goose is lovely, like so much of your work. Thanks for sharing.

  9. What an inspiring post Laura. I love the Canada Goose with it's very loose background, and your art journals are fascinating. I'm looking forward to seeing a "How to" one of these days. ;-)
